Bravo!!! Well said. And yes we have crossed the line of too many wanting something for nothing. It will take U.S Congress persons who are in Washington to serve the citizens rather then themselves for this country to begin the reversal of a population depending on entitlements.

Good thoughts!! You're saying that the citizens of this country must earn our way out of this mess without further comnplications from our government. Which Presidential candidate will best represent your feelings on foreign affiars and which Vice-President candidate will have the determination to clean up the Congress, which is where the real mess is?

Change is good as long as it doesn't interfer with the American dream of independence from excessive government control of our lives and the change doesn't dissuade entrepreneurism and personal responsibility in general. Change must come over a long long period of time or it will kill the goose that laid the golden egg.

It doesn't take a genius to see it, only a genius to say it so most everyone understands it. What does that say about the U.S.Congress?

Foreign ADR's of same select sectors are good too but have not yet declined enough. They could be a good dollar hedge too, though at some point, not in the too distant future, inflation will take a second seat to trade and foreign govs may cut rates to reverse the dollar advantage in a slowing global economy.

Great article and fantastic site. So much is missing in the tradtional press to help the average investor know what's moving the markets. Keep up the good work. I'm a dedicated reader.
